Experiences that take us to the next level

Today in the morning, I like watching CNN just before or after coming from the shower and while I was flipping thru the channels, there was a prayer morning show and on it was Kathleen Bradley. I had run the warm water, but something Kathleen was talking about , made me sit on the couch and I just had to listen more.
She talked about loosing a brother..Scott. But what caught my ears the most is the show host asked her to share how that challenge worked out for her, an experience that someone in the audience can relate with, and I said to myself oh yeah I would like to listen to that more.
So I relaxed a little bit and avoided the clock on the wall, didnt wanna run when somebody was just about to give me one more word to stregthened me. She spoke and up to that point i didnt hear no bible quote, not one that I would hold on to and say yeah, am gonna stand on this scripture. She said, how hard it was, how it might not have made a lot of sense, but she recognised that God lets you experience somethings to prepare you for the next level. And I felt like wao, hope she aint talking to me, because am sure she doesnt know what have been through. As she continued to speak, I couldnt help but agree, I can relate to that. I should Glorify God in every situation no matter how hard it is. Everything that I go through, when I look back it has made me grow, stronger and more humble in this life.
What did it take, for Abraham to take Isaac and at God's command want to sacrifice him. I mean Isaac was not just another kid on the block, he was the heir apparent to his father. It took alot of faith. Even when it has not been revealed to us, God cant go wrong. Not the way us humans go around making mistakes here and there, getting shaken up by the lack of trust we have in each other, and the little faith we have in God, and the big hope we put in our worldly understanding of things. Its good to share all this, and to go through the turmoil, but joy is in knowing that it has made you , me a better person, who appreciates alot of things and people around us.
