One good deed
I just called Stanley told you he had lost his mom, who lived in the country side. I know how much a phone call means to someone who have lost a friend or loved one through death. In the few weeks that followed my best friend and loved one was gone, and the undertaker had done his work, and everyone had forgotten, what really gave me strength were the few calls that I got after all had been done. The few calls that still asked me , how are you doing, are you alright, would you mind coming over for coffee, we are going for an outing today would you mind joining us. Those moments kept me going. The thought just crossed my mind, and I had to call Stanley. I mean me and him have never gotten close enough to know each other, but the fact that he called me to tell me his mom had gone to meet Jesus, gave me the idea that I have been made a friend enough to support him through this. The thank you at the end of the phone call is enough to tell me I was right. I thought about giving him a bible verse to stand on, but I thought one good deed should stand up for that, sometimes one good thing that you do is enough for a preaching
