Oh Life!

I have been quite out of touch, and some good it has done me............taking time off the normal routine, is as good as a rest. To be honest its been long since i ever had a whole weekend just lazing around doing nothing, hence I took the first opportunity I had to get away. It was really nice, I chose not to cook, because a chef did that for me, all I had at my disposal was all the TV i could want, but I didn't do the couch thing, I just lazed around. Didnt touch anywork, not even in my head and by yesterday morning, I was so awake. Last night, I just got it in my head when I heard the barking of the dogs then I knew, wao am bak home, it feels good but since the midnight robbery some few months ago I couldnt just sleep well. I would wake up with panic attacks, and pray away the fear......... it was such a traumatic experience, I mean my whole life, I had never even been mugged, or burgled, but this one night it was a gang of 5 people, 3 of them harrassing us inside the house and the rest of them guarding at the door....it was terrible and for a long time sleep wouldnt come, I would stay awake for hours, it affected my work, and just destabilised me. The robbers were threatening the whole family, that they would burn us to death, then I started thinking about all the securty measures we had, that at that moment were turning against us....it was harder to get in, but now it was fool proof we couldnt get away. Anyway, Jesus sent His Angels down here, that night, as the robbers were roughening my mum in her bedroom, I remember my sister been the level headed one, saying everything will be alright, but I just stood there, praying, asking God to release what was in store for us. That experience was horrible, I would like to forget it as soon as I can, but for sure it made me value my family more. And what God can do no man can, when all my friends were asleep, even those whom I know I can definately rely on, sound asleep in their beds, there was only one friend I could turn to that night...........and that is why its hard not to talk about Jesus!!
